Hardanger House sits in Jondal - an idyllic town located on the west side of Folgefonna Glacier and National Park, right on the Hardanger Fjord, and surrounded by gorgeous mountain summits.

The town has a nice mix of services and shops, with many shops for food, cafés, locally made hand-crafts, a swimming hall, and areas to play football and volleyball.

Experience Trolltunga

Trolltunga is one of the most spectacular mountain formations in all of Norway. At 1100 meters above sea-level, and 700 meters over the lake of Ringedalsvatnet, it is one of the most breathtaking views in the country.

There are many beautiful hikes in Hardanger and Jondal. The combination of mountains, fjord, and glacier create an endless selection of opportunities to explore the outdoors.

Folgefonna

Summer in Winterland

The summertime ski-area, FONNA Glacier Ski Resort, sits directly on the glacier of Folgefonna, just a 20 minute drive from Hardanger House. Groomed pistes are prepared for the whole family, in addition to a terrain park, cross-country trails, og trailheads for hikes.
